GENERAL PARKING

Parking regulations in Menomonie are strictly enforced due to the volume of vehicles. In addition to posted signs indicating no parking areas, limited parking and metered parking, certain streets and avenues are fully restricted. Make it a point to know the overnight policy on the street where you intend to park.

WINTER CALENDAR PARKING

Special restrictions are necessary to facilitate removal of snow. The odd-even calendar parking restriction applies to all streets in the city, except where otherwise restricted, such as "No Parking Any Time". Beginning November 1st and ending April 1st, between the hours of 2:00am and 7:00am, motorists must park on the odd numbered side of the street on odd numbered calendar days and on even numbered calendar days on the even numbered side of the street. The easiest way to remember this ordinance is to always park your vehicle for the next day, as enforcement occurs between 2:00am and 7:00am.

LAWN PARKING

The parking of any motor vehicle is prohibited in the front or side yard unless on a driveway or parking pad as defined in the city ordinance.

TICKET PAYMENTS

City of Menomonie parking tickets may be paid in one of the following three ways:

Place a check or money order (DO NOT SEND CASH IN THE MAIL) in the envelope and drop in the mail or place in a downtown collection box.

bullet

Drop off the payment personally at the Menomonie Police Department.

bullet

Pay online by electronic check or credit card at www.remit-online.com/715001.

NOTE: IF YOUR REGISTRATION IS SUSPENDED DUE TO AN UNPAID MENOMONIE PARKING TICKET, PLEASE CONTACT THE MENOMONIE POLICE DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO MAKING ANY ONLINE PAYMENT.

If you do not pay or contest your parking citation, the Department of Transportation may suspend your vehicle registration and other action will be taken. You may contest a parking citation by contacting the Menomonie Police Department.

UW-STOUT PARKING TICKETS

The Menomonie Police Department does not enforce UW-Stout lots and does not handle payments for UW-Stout tickets.
