              MPD HIRES OFFICER CHRIS KING

The Menomonie Police Department would like to welcome Officer Chris King, who was hired on December 1, 2007.  Officer King grew up in Chippewa County.  He graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice.  Prior to joining MPD, Officer King worked as a part-time Reserve Deputy for the Chippewa County Sheriff's Department, and most recently as a Patrol Officer with the Bloomer Police Department.  In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and watching dirt track car racing.  Welcome aboard, Officer King!
