              MPD HIRES OFFICER CHRISTOPHER BERGERSON

The Menomonie Police Department would like to welcome Officer Christopher Bergerson, who was hired on July 16, 2007.  Officer Bergerson is originally from Chippewa Falls, WI.  He received his Criminal Justice training and certification at Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire, WI.  Prior to joining MPD, Officer Bergerson was employed by the Eau Claire County Sheriff's Department as a Jailer.  In his spare time, he enjoys hunting and fishing.  He also coaches fifth and sixth grade football for a  Youth Football League.  Welcome aboard Officer Bergerson!
