              MPD PROMOTES OFFICER JASON BARNESON TO SERGEANT

The Menomonie Police Department would like to congratulate Jason Barneson, who was promoted to the rank of Sergeant by the Police and Fire Commission on November, 16, 2007.  Sgt. Barneson has been with MPD since 1999.  He has served the department as a Field Training Officer, SWAT team member, and Firearms Instructor.  Congratulations, Sgt. Barneson!
